Roarcast is a service that provides hosting and server management for SHOUTcast streaming software. We basically host a piece of software that allows you to stream media to the internet. We also have a custom made control panel to allow you to fully manage your server. From updating the settings, to starting and stopping the server, and even kicking the source from broadcasting!

All SHOUTcast hosting plans are prepaid, the way it works is you only pay for what you use. All servers are prepaid month to month. There are no contracts, so you can cancel whenever you like. Optionally, you can pay for up to a year in advance or pay month to month. Once the server expires, it has a grace period of 30 days before it'll automatically be removed from your account. You can even choose the server you'd like to stream from! You are also able to have multiple servers per account, to keep things organized.

Port 80 Streaming is included free of charge and is enabled by default with every server plan. Sometimes a user's firewall might block the port you're streaming on so the user will be unable to listen to your stream. We circumvent this by proxying the port that you're streaming on, to port 80, which is the same port you're browsing this site on. This effectively allows the user to tune into your stream by bypassing their firewall. This allows you to have more listeners that otherwise wouldn't be able to tune into your stream.

We offer unmetered bandwidth for all SHOUTcast servers, you're only limited to the features in your package (such as max bitrate and max listeners).

Our SHOUTcast servers are compatible with Sam 3 Broadcaster, as well as Winamp using the DSP plugin.

Our SHOUTcast servers are fully compatible with streaming to your SecondLife parcel.
